This works wonderfully well. I once used light crisco oil and it did the job
well and created a gorgeous grainy effect. It was single weight, FB p

And you can put the 4" x 5" paper negs in a 4" x 5" enlarger and print right

For the negative, it's best to use enlarging paper without p
I have a 135MM f2.8 Canon EOS soft focus lens which works similarly to the
Dreamagon, however it has the automatic focus capability and is a great lens.
You can vary the focus 3 ways to give the same effect as the Dreamagon and
you can buy the Canon lens in the USA. I also have a Mamiya 150MM f4

You can use ANYTHING with a photo sensitive emulsion in a pinhole camera!

I use Ilford RC paper for regular shots. The packages are marked Medium
Wgt. Can I use this for PH negs? If not, what paper would be best?

Since the optical effect of filters takes palce in front of the lens, it
will probably produce a similar effect if you place it in front of the
pinhole. Can't see putting it in the pinhole itself, but, who knows... no

The photos in the Dreamagon article in Shutterbug look quite a bit
different from the majority of the samples on the web site. Many
of the web sample images were shot a a higher f/ stop for a less
"extreme' effect. It is when the lens is wide open (f/4) that the
images are similar to zone plate.
Tri-X has been around for decades and so have cameras
with red filmcounter windows. The paper backing is light
tight, but if you expect to have the back of the camera
exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time you
could always put a small piece of (for example) gafer's
tape over the windo
