Hi all,

Just joined the list and wanted to say hello.

Pinhole stuff is new to me having built my first cardboard box pinhole
camera about 2 weeks ago and by chance I found the link for "WPPD" while
searching for general pinhole info. I was excited to be part of WPPD (the
first one ?)...very cool and I'm impressed with all the images I've seen so
far :)

Does anyone know if there any plans or detailed pictures of pinhole camera
design on the web or in books? My father is setting up a woodworking shop at
his home for making small precision items from wood and a pinhole camera
sounds like a good project for him (from my point of view anyway :) . I
think I've found enough info about focal lengths, pinhole sizes and
exposures on the web but am now looking for ways of mounting the film in the
camera. I'm thinking of 4x5 or 5x7 film/paper or maybe even 120 roll film.
If I go with film/paper option I want some way of being able to change film
in the field without a change bag, maybe some sort of removable back and
make up a few extra? If I go with 120 film I'm wondering how to build the
film holding/advancing mechanism from scratch? Diving in the deep end I know
but I'm just working on ideas for now.

My "WPPD" pic is #12 "Barracks Archway" (my 4th pinhole image)
