Hi All
I am building a large mammoth Camera, 12x18, And I have A lens for a
argus c3 that I was going to use as my lens. but I know that the f-stop
relates as the distance from the hole to the film Plate. So if the lens

Hi,
400 Dollars for what? The body? Body plus one zoom lens? ...
I do not think there are bad cameras available now. When you are
Can one see thru the prism/viewfinder on an SLR with a pinhole drilled
body cap?
principally: yes. but you need a considerable amount of light.
Does one need to cover the eyepiece on an SLR conversion to prevent
stray light entering thru the eyepiece?
Depends on the quality of the camera
Hello,
hi there ...
I am using a body cap with a larger hole cut out,
about 5mm or 6mm and then I am applying soda can
aluminum to it. Thin enough?
sounds ok.
I will be using a 30 gauge syringe needle. Which is
smaller than a pin. I called BD (manufacturers) and

Hello!
But then i thought 2:1 or higher magnification with a lens camera would
have a bellow extension of 600mm and more.
So would a 300mm pinhole 8x10 camera for macro work be kind of a wide
angle?
As a pinhole doesn't have an inherent focal length, you can shoot a 2:1
macro with any
Hello folks,
I am a pinhole-newbie and I like the pictures that was linked to in this
list pretty much. I have started making pinhole-pictures with a little
self-made objectiv for a reflex camera, to use an normal film. But now I

Yes, the digital cameras with interchangeable lenses are quite
expensive (cheapest is a 1.4 mp Olympus at $1500 list); but ccd video
cameras aren't exactly cheap either.
well, I had in mind the CCD camera modules that are sold as door spy etc ..
you need to look for a (cheap) power supply and
i am hoping someone out there will be able to answer my question! i
would like to know if it is possible to take macro images using pinhole

I have a few closeups on my site:

Has anyone tried taking pinhole photos using a digital camera?
Hi Pam,
I think it would be more promising to use a CCD video cam with an
exchangeable lens.
Digital cameras with removable lens systems might be rather expensive (there

I have just uploaded a couple of images to my server. Both were
taken with an old Ansco 6x9 folding camera. I ripped the folding
front door and bellows out, put a plate and pinhole across the front.
I think the focal length is about 19mm.
what do you mean : 'ripped out'? (sorry,
