Whether you get vignetting or not will depend on the width and depth of the
shutter, the size of the film you are trying to cover and the focal length
of your camera. I've mounted pinholes in a couple of leaf shutters and get a
small amount of vignetting in only one of them. A nice feature of this
method is that the amount of vignetting can be controlled somewhat by
closing the shutter's aperture. I found this out quite accidentally by
shooting an entire roll with the shutter's aperture set at f-18. Not quite
what I expected but as it goes so often with pinhole, happy accidents can be
quite nice.
