Tim, a step-up ring is a great idea! I am going to experiment with this. I
think it's going to work.
The reasons a shutter had appealed to me are three:
(1) I have to use HP5 for this camera, and it has a "focal length" that is
quite short (6", about the equivalent of a 15mm lens in 35mm). So I w
Hi everyone, I'm new to the list so I'm sorry if this doesn't come out
right. Terry, Here is a picture of a cable release shutter I made for my 2 x
3 pinhole camera. It is a variation of shutters I found on the web. It works
well and isn't difficult to make. I can give you more info if you want.

Terry,
Do a web search with the argument: DOUGH BARDELL PINHOLE

Where can I find information
Where can I find information on a relatively simple cable release shutter
design for a wooden pinhole camera? Thanks, Terry
Hello,
I would love to know how you did that!
Thanks

Hello all
I can attest to the usefulness of floppy disks as a
shutter machanism. Here is a photo of one of my oldest
pinhole cameras that uses this idea.
I can supply details if anyone is interested.

attempt worked fine with a tape shutter. I am hoping
to use some 400 speed film and would like to make a
spring enhanced shutter. Can someone give me some
instruction on its construction?
