Actually but #472302 already has a request for a .desktop file with a patch.
The maintainer looks pretty inactive. I am going to see if they are MIA
and we can see what can be done about this package.
Thanks,

been working on this package almost since I joined the games team.
It's a wreck. I'll try to get this fixed and uploaded shortly and add
myself as an uploader.

Hi,
I am unable to reproduce this. Have you tried this with 2.1.1 from
unstable? I am also in the process of uploading 2.1.3.

Philipp,
I'm working on this. We have had clanlib 0.8 sitting in SVN for a while
now. I am going to request removal of clanbomber, then upload clanlib 0.8.
Thanks!

happening. What type of video do you both have?
Matijs, do you get the same error about SDL video failing? I think if
it can't use SDL it tries to create some type of cache to help with
performance which is why I can't reproduce it locally.

I'm seeing a similar error as described in this bug report, adanaxis
fails to start:
,
| mkdir /usr/share/games/adanaxisgpl/mushware-cache failed: Permission denied

Matijs,
Do you have the adanaxisgpl-data file installed? I'm currently missing
a depends on the -data package which I'm working on fixing right now.

Hi,
I was looking at Barry's changes to conquest, and suggested several
more. Barry did most of those changes, and I did some as well. Now I
have a package which builds and fixes some bugs (it's in svn already).

they're really good with numbers, and remember bugs by ID, but I
wouldn't count on that. ;-) )
So next time, please mention the bug title or so. For convenience, I'll

I cannot reproduce this on any of my machines. What type of video are
you using? Do you get any more details on the segfault? Is there any
chance you could produce a stacktrace?

Unfortunately no, Ben doesn't have a BTS for lordswar. However I know
him well and have been in contact with him on all of your issues so
using here to report bugs is fine for now.

Tomas,
Thanks again for the bug report. I actually have already reported this
to upstream and he is aware of it. I'll see if I can get that going for

I agree that the packaging seems odd but since monsterz depends
monsterz-data and monsterz-data depends python and python-pygame, I'm
not sure how you would ever end up with monsterz installed without
python or pygame.
