I have a series of tools for osm,
patches for different tool, would like to package them as well for
debian, some type of experimental repository.
for example, TwoNickels is a port of dime that has an dxf2osm :

I can understand that no one is really interested in the package,
but it is needed to use josm properly. If you don't have it, you
cannot use josm properly.

It looks like the coastline tarball is untarred preserving the original
uid/gid:
