gcj recently being split to handle headless environments. Does it
help to install the libgcj7-awt package

I just discovered that the latest version of openjump need a newer
version of jts. It uses the com.vividsolutions.jts.io.WKBReader
class, and it was new in version 1.7.
Please upgrade jts in Debian.

I am the Debian maintainer of terralib. We just got a report that
it isn't building with gcc 4.1. Please have a look at

problem be fixed in the next release of terralib? When is a new
tarball release
A workaround for the problem of non-stable API and ABI in the
mapserver library, we can add a -dev and library package with the
mapserver version number as part of the name, to make sure already
installed systems keep working.
The gdal library recently did this, and it should work for mapserver
