Oh, I am surprised to see this. Normally, I check the WNPP list
multiple times before working on a new package. I'm very sorry about

The package rhdb-explain currently requires a Sun JDK. Trying to run
it with kaffe leads to this:

As long as you are randomly renaming the package, shouldn't you use the
upstream package name? That would be "postgresql-jdbc" so the package
should be called libpostgresql-jdbc-java. That would also have the nice

Package: libmx4j-java
Version: 2.1.1-2
Severity: wishlist
C-JDBC apparently needs the remote and tools support in MX4J, so I'm
making this known here so I can track the progress. If there are
reasons why this support is currently not included in the package, it
might be worth adding them here.

Since version 0.4.37, cdbs calls dh_installcatalogs automatically, so your
package will get duplicate snippets in postinst etc. next time it's built.
I don't think this really breaks anything, but you may want to remove the
explicit call to dh_ins

The man page of dh_javadoc references debhelper(1), but the debhelper
man page is debhelper(7).

This bug can be fixed by changing the build dependency back from gcj-4.0 to
gcj (which pulls in gcj-4.x and includes the missing gcjh binary).
The build will then immediately break because of #368967, but that's a
different issue.

Ok, but then a testcase isn't needed, as it's easily reproducable.
