Thank you for interest in eclipse and for your bug report. However, we will probably not fix this bug. In the coming eclipse 3.5.1, we have changed quite a lot and the whole "eclipserc"-mechanism (and most of the reason for having it) has been removed.
Therefore, we will not provide an example for writing this file anymore as it will no longer be used.
