Excuse for replying so late. I have reinstalled the debian from scratch. I have burned a cd iso image before updating the os using aptitude full-upgrade, and I was able to burn the iso image successfully. I have upgraded the system using aptitude full-upgrade. I have tried again today to burn iso image on a cd and it has shown error about inability to burn the media. Please look into the matter.
