Hello,
Any chance you could weigh in on this KDE review? It's where I forwarded your
patch to upstream.

After I emailed you I found the KDE bug that the musicbrainz tagging was
crashing on https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=328359
Also it appears they fixed that bu

Ok I built it and ran it and I think I tested the chunk of code that you
modified and it crashed.
However I then ran the version without your patch and it also crashed, so I'm
going to send your patch to upstream alon

Upstream hasn't official released it yet, and I'd like to get some sign offs
before shipping the experimental version.
I was willing to ship code I was responsible for preparing to experimental,
but I'd like to hold off before sending it to unstable.

Yes that patch did help.
I just pushed telepathy-qt -3 which includes it.

Is there any chance that you could install 2.8.0-3+b1 installs from sid? or
possibly you could try 2.8.0-3 from snapshots.debian.org

Hi,
I did some more investigation, and although I wasn't able to duplicate the
segfaults, I did find something odd.
I set up a Debian 8.1 system which I think did an upgrade to testing. That
left me with an Amarok that was linked against both libnettle.so.4 and
libnettle.so.6.
It looks like
Thank you for the bug report, though I'm
not sure what to do about it from the
amarok end other than encourage the
libnettle people to fix their package.

Hi,
I looked at the upstream bug tracker and saw this bug.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=339190
Which seems similar.
Could you start "amarok --debug" and see if you get the similar increasing
track numbers?

Also for your request about IRC, upstream deliberatedly disabled telepathy-

I'd added the << B-D because of the following libssl bug and that I didn't

Unfortunately I didn't navigate the transitions to get qt-gstreamer 1.0 and
the updated telepathy-qt needed for a working ktp-call-ui into Jessie.
The components needed are off sitting in the just released slightly too late
0.9 release of ktp.

I don't have an ICQ account so testing it would be pretty difficult for me.
