When I try to open a COLLADA 1.4 .dae file using Illusoft's importer
that comes with the package (for example, a cube that comes when a new
scene is created, being exported as COLLADA 1.4 with Illusoft's
exporter, or a sample model from Google 3D Warehouse
http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/ in COLLADA 1.4 format), it
causes error, seems to fail at resolving links e.g. between
<instance_geometry url="#blah" /> and <geometry id="blah" name="blah" />
tags in XML tree. The sample console output is below:

It seems that this plugin is no longer maintained by Illusoft (last
version v0.3.159 by July 9, 2007 - actually being used in blender
package in Debian Lenny), so I ask you to apply a fix/patch for this
problem.

Hi!
Actual Debian Blender doesn't include COLLADA support because
there's no official package in Debian archives providing it.
Probably older versions did, but it was in the past.
So I'm closing this bug since it has no sense, at the moment.
