Steps:
1. Installed rosegarden
2. Opened it
3. Clicked on a track to create a new segment
4. Tried to open notation editor to edit the segment
5. Crash.
All other editors work

In the file
/usr/share/applications/rosegarden.desktop
the MIME type audio/x-flac is listed.
The result is that Rosegarden is proposed (or even the default) as an
application
to open FLAC files on the right-click menu

Within Configure Rosegarden, under General and Behaviour, there is a
Details button for the Sequencer status. It produces a window that contains
black text on a black background.

A quick look at the current git will show that I have already given it a lot
love, updated it to the current upstream version
