when using padsp to route OSS sound to pulseaudio, it fails with the message:
ERROR: ld.so: object 'libpulsedsp.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded:
ignored.
when using the debug switch in padsp:
utils/padsp.c: dsp

I'm getting lots of noise over my music when only one app is playing sound.
Starting another player shuts that noise down and the sound becomes clear
again, even if that other player is muted in the PA per-application mixer.
