I got this in the mail:

Hi!
["out of date redmine" bug report in CC. this is a followup email to
the generic "we're going to LTS redmine!" notification which expands on
the situation and hopefully the future of the Redmine packaging]

After reviewing the patch, I agree, the logic is reversed.
I am also not sure why the patch is so different - did the primitives

I suspect this is similar to #590276 and #732297, but since the
backtraces are different, it could, actually, be a different bug.
I sometimes see this error in my cronjobs:

I run redmine as the "redmine" user, while the debian package sets it as
"www-data",
I ended up giving up here and upgraded to the wheezy version by hand, as
I don't want to maintain a ton of ruby backports out there..
I had to screw around with bundle to make things work, so there may be
dependencies missing here. The magic incantation was:
# bundle install --without development

Even though we used a statoverride, the permissions were still wrong on
the environment.rb file:
apps:/etc/apt# ls -al /usr/share/redmine/config/environment.rb
-rw-r--r-- 1 www-data root 4157 22 jan 12:14
/usr/share/redmine/config/environment.rb

I uploaded a NMU to security-master.debian.org just now. This should be
sufficient to fix rails security on squeeze since #697744 /
CVE-2013-0155 doesn't affect 2.x.
I don't have more time to work on this issue so others will pick up the
upload for sid.

Sure, now the backport can be done!
I'd be happy to do so in the coming month of no one else wants to
handle this and Jeremy is okay with that.
Jeremy, is it okay for you if I update the redmine backport to 1.4?

Note that this backport depends on the rails 2.3 backport, which is
pending in #657813.

It would be nice to get this backported to squeeze. I am willing to
look into this and I am opening this issue to coordinate the work.
So far I see that most dependencies are backported but:
ruby-actionmailer-2.3
ruby-actionpack-2.3
So it seems they ar
