I believe I know _what_'s taking so long, at least in my case: a crashed 
machine leaves thin-lvm dirty, needing a thin-check on the next boot.

That's taking too long, and so I run into the systemd timeout; when I get 
dropped into the recovery shell, I can run "vgchange -ay", wait for it to 
complete, and continue the boot normally via "mount -a" and <Ctrl-D>.


So, if only the timeout would be longer....
