Hello all,
First my apologies, yes the CI system is behind, I had done significant
work on a new revamp and then life, work and those other incredibly
annoying things got in the way. The CI team is rather small and we are
trying our best to move things forward. We are now getting back on track,
LTS do not. However, it is you that decides what you want to support :) My
time has shrunk significantly for volunteer work and I simply will not have
time to revamp the metadata any time soon, so unless another volunteer
steps up, bumping to 5.6 for all might be your best option.

On
FWIW some distros like Kubuntu (neon?) use systemsettings for all of our
system settings. So having separate places for all other settings is very
poor user experience.
And I do recall seeing in various places third party KCMs like systemd and
feel that this absolutely should be supported.
Cheers,
+1 to this, and actually I would reuse it for my CI revamp I am working on,
I was working on something similiar, but if the devs keep up their own file
would be even better!
So in short, this would not duplicate kde-build-metadata because that is
going away.
Cheers,
Scarlett

Someone did, as you can see here:
https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=plasma-desktop.git=blob=358bd7ab8e2f3aabfa77536467079712757430cd=CMakeLists.txt=plain
set(QT_MIN_VERSION "5.5.0")
CI does not randomly update Cmake files :)
Found it:
6 weeks agoRequire Qt 5.5
Rather than bashing us, you could perhaps ping us and let us know something
is amiss?
Thanks,
Scarlett

Hi
I woke up this morning to a sea of red. Almost all of the linux builds are
failing. It looks like QT5 was triggered by an scm change, but hard to tell as
it was also started and aborted by kaning.
