i found the issue.Both of us were using the same settings in our
distro but our friend didn't.
So due to a bug in our distro,the ocs dataengine wasn't installed.
I reported the bug in the downstream.

today i was trying to port the knowledgebase to the plasma components.
Thanks to notmart i figured that the specific plasmoid is not working
in my regular user only.
