Here is the current status of the PLplot-5.15.0 release process.

N.B. the freeze on pushes of source code or build system changes I
declared yesterday will continue until this release process is completed.

I have assessed Arjen's recent MSYS2 comprehensive test and posted
that assessment off-list to him.  I have also completed a
comprehensive test of my own on my Linux (Debian Testing) platform,
and summaries of both comprehensive tests have been added to our wiki
(see commits plplot-5.14.0-43-g15ffb9d10 and
plplot-5.14.0-44-g9c113444c and the new table entries at
<https://sourceforge.net/p/plplot/wiki/Testing_Reports/>).

The most important result of these comprehensive tests on MSYS2 and
Linux is that no release-critical issues have been detected on either
platform.  Therefore, the release process for PLplot-5.15.0 continues
with an ETA some time later this week.
