It is my pleasure to announce publicly that António Rodrigues Tomé has
just become an official member of the PLplot core development team.
(For a list of all official members of that team, see
<https://sourceforge.net/p/plplot/_members/>.)  António's primary
development interest in PLplot is in that software's Qt5 related
components, and he plans further changes (if necessary) for PLplot to
make it compatible with Qt6 as well.  It's great to have that Qt
maintenance expertise on our core team because our Qt-related
components provide some of our best-looking plots.  However, I also
encourage António to work on more than just the Qt-related components
of PLplot if he spots anything else he would like to improve.
