This will be my first time to deal with LVM in Linux and I have one
volume group as described below. The project was just handed to me and
what I need to do is reorganize its lay out. I need to split this in 4
volumes, 20 GB for root, 30 GB for apps and 2 x 75GB each for DB.

Personally, I'm more enamored with Apt than .deb, as although dpkg is
