first, you should think of the naming convention suited for your files and
directories since they can be partitioned according to dept, groups,
projects, clients, date, control numbers, etc. if i may ask, what filesystem
are you going to use? are you expecting your users to browse/scan the
fileserv

I'm thinking of
splitting the files across multiple subdirectories. What do you think in a good
