I just finished installing CentOS 5.5 on my HP Mini today but I never use[d] xVM with a GUI. Performance wasn't so bad. It was quite acceptable and far from annoyingly slow with memory at 384MB. I'll send more stats later as things at work start to move slower. You'd be surprised that xVM doesn't
