I just finished installing CentOS 5.5 on my HP Mini today but I never
use[d] xVM with a GUI.
Performance wasn't so bad. It was quite acceptable and far from
annoyingly slow with memory at 384MB. I'll send more stats later as
things at work start to move slower.

Well, many of us old timers in this list were running VMWare 1.x on Linux to
boot Windows 9x on a Pentium-II or III ten years ago. ;)
