Hi Edwin, I tried to put comment to port 21 on /etc/services and I have no xinet daemon I then restart my server. And when it goes back online, still my port 21 is open and It does not solve my nmap problem. If my ftp problem does not bind to any service, I feel relieved. But then again, the

Hi, I have a squid with ldap auth; dansguardian; sarg and httpd running on CentOS 5.3. I'm worried when I nmap this server and found out that port 21 (ftp) is open. I dont install any ftp application. Any ideas what may have caused it and how could i close it? Please help. *#nmap myserver* PORT
