The problem is not on my iptables. Though if it would help, here it goes:
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT 5 packets, 316 bytes)
pkts bytes target prot opt in out source

Hi Edwin,
I tried to put comment to port 21 on /etc/services and I have no xinet
daemon I then restart my server. And when it goes back online, still my
port 21 is open and It does not solve my nmap problem.
If my ftp problem does not bind to any service, I feel relieved. But then
again, the

let me explain my purpose
Our LDAP server was created by one of my fellow-sysad. I am tasked to create
a new server that does not need to query on the LDAP server but has the same
credentials on the LDAP server. In order for me to do that, I need to see
the user's account and password in clear
Hi Guys,
Please help me decrypt password into readable texts.
I have a sample here:
dn: uid=some.user,ou=people,dc=mydomain,dc=com
userPassword:: VmVRdWFrczE=
Please tell me what tool you used in order to decrypt it. (Promise, I'll use
this in good ways).
Thanks again.

I finally able to run java.yeeehah!.
Since most of you tells me that its directory specific though I
strongly think that I'm in the right directory. Here's what I did:
1. I went to my firefox directory:
# cd /usr/lib/firefox-1.5.0.12
2. run manually my executable firefox file:
# ./firefox

I did putting symlinks on my firefox plugins directory. I even
closed/open my firefox application after putting symlinks.
/usr/lib/firefox-1.5.0.12/plugins/libjavaplugin_oji.so ->
/usr/java/jre1.6.0_03/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so
Any idea what might be the problem?
