wouldn't want to carry around my external drives all the time, as they're
prone to shock... I'd only get an EEE PC if I want more convenient
portability than with a notebook PC... :-) YMWV. :-)

Someone from the office just got one. The interface is quite basic - no
toolbar, no start menu. Programs are grouped together via a tabbed
interface. Also, although the OS is Linux, the top bar and window operators
