We use mysql as our database server. We use a VB-developed application that
connects through MyODBC, but I've never tried connecting OVER THE INTERNET,
for security reasons. Can I use a secure connection from the remote office
to the main office over the internet using MyODBC only? Or,
what kind of database is the main office using? if it's using mysql, a
web based application like phpmyadmin can do the job or if your user's
are adept using the command line, just have them login via ssh using
putty for windows.
