Has anyone here worked on a standalone ntp time server which uses GPS to
obtain the clock signal?
The server would output the standard ethernet ntp protocol, but as a
stratum 1 server.

Since the unit is unavailable, I poked around a bit on the Garmin site..
this looks very attractive and can create a stratum 1 timeserver for a
very affordable price (not to mention that you get your geophysical
coordinates too)
