I'm starting to do some investigation of PLCs for a project involving
marine (ship) management. I was wondering if anyone was familiar with
any linux applications that collect data from PLCs. Would the
applications have to be built to the specific PLC? Are there any "cross
platform" applciati
There is nothing special about testing it with a projector. You could just
test it with any external monitor as long as it can handle the same
resolution you will be using with the projector.

with the nouveau driver, and I think the max that most projectors do is
1280 x 1050.
