For the past several days my Thinkpad T61 has felt hot. And I have two CPU monitors in the Gnome panel, one for CPU0 and the other for CPU1, and they have both been running close to the max all the time. I tried Gnome System Monitor, but it shows nothing taking more than a few percent of the CPU.

Without going into the details of an incredibly long trek, about a month ago I installed the proprietary nVidia driver on my laptop. The laptop runs Fedora 14 x86_64 and has the nVidia NVS 140M graphics chip. Later I uninstalled the nVidia driver and went back to the nouveau driver. I am happy with

The website update included changing the server that ddclient points to. That was the first major hassle because they didn't say anything about it until I started getting errors. That's fixed but now I am getting all the html code. ddclient is a generic daemon for dynamic dns so whatever zon

Anyone using zoneedit.com and ddclient? Even better if with a Linksys WRT54G router. ddclient runs every 5 minutes to check the router to see if the IP has changed. That's all good, but it returns a long email message to root every time it runs. The message contains html code and looks like
