I have a Ubuntu 10.x desktop setup. I mainly use it as a file and FTP
server. I have Lost/Forgot my Admin Profile. I have several users for FTP,
but of course they do not have much authority.
I guessing the answer is No, but is there a way to recover.reset my admin
user password?

SSD's Do have a limited number of writes. That number is pretty high, but
there is a limit. SSD's really shine in Read Mode and can have read times
10x of a spinning drive. writes are faster too, maybe (3x or so ).

port-installation trigger libc6 and hangs until I reboot. Server never
gets past 47% scanning the disks.
