This reminds me of the slogan (or whatever you call it) on mutt.org:
"All mail clients suck. This one just sucks less." -me, circa 1995

hi superman,
how did you install your OS? security, in most cases, is not
os-specific. it's more of administration-specific, more
environmental. if you have a good administration of your
machines, security won't be a problem.
it's true that redhat is very easy to install. operating

Not all updates/patches are for security. Most are for bug-fixe
patchesthat come out doesn't mean they're all fixes to vulnerabilities :PJerome G.-Original Message-From: "Elky G..." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]Date: Thu, 26 Sep 2002 19:08:11 -0700 (PDT)Subject: Re: [plug] About REDHAT--HELP!> > go to www.l

You won't get any argument from me.
Comparing the number of security advisories just isn't useful, for
several reasons: (1) Not all vulnerabilities are exploitable. Some are
highly theoretical, in fact. (2)
i meant 'wouldnt' and not would. funny how you missed a word or two and
it changed the meaning of what you said. no disrespect meant to debian
users.

now that last comment definitely constitutes a flame-bait. GNU/Linux
software loosely belongs to the 'alpha' software category and they are
constantly changing and evolving. as have been previously mentioned a
countless of times, a distro is a collection of software projects. if

Good day to all!
For the past years I have been using REDHAT distro on my servers.
Its really easy to use and easy to install the only problem is that
every time I use RH I have this feeling that my servers are not that
secured.
Last week I installed RH 7.2 as a WEB server...2 days after it was
