I am looking for a replacement for my 15 year old HP LaserJet 2600n. It has
served me well over the years, but is developing some issues that I think
are better served by replacement.
My needs:
Color Laser printer
Networked (not connected directly or tied to a specific computer)

On a suggestion from BoingBoing.net, I replaced an increasingly cranky HP
Color LaserJet and color Inkjet-scanner with a Brother
printer-scanner-copier-fax and found it to be nag-free and inexpensive to
run over two years' use.
I agree that HP laser printers are the way to go. I don't have much
experience with color laser printers, or with all in one laser printers.
So, I wouldn't be able to recommend any specific models. One trick I
figured out: Knoppix supports more old printers than Windows, or any other
