I enjoyed it too.
It's about time for the marketing people to make these giveaway usb
drives contain a bootable/installable OS. As it is I'll have to set
that up myself :)

This was a wonderful event. Thanks to Novell for putting it together. It was
very Novell centered, but it was great catching up on some of the latest
features and offerings in that universe.
Parking ended up being free, and the breakfast/lunch were very nice. Overall,
a very enjoyable event.

I'm actually surprised there has not been a single mention of Ra Elco in
SLC:
Ra Elco, Inc.

Salt Lake City

Radio Shack is child's play compared to this.

Normally I'd look at monoprice.com, but if you need a local
supplier, you could try Electrical Wholesale Supply or maybe
Codale Electric (b

Yeah. SparkFun is GREAT. But unless I'm buying at least $20-$30 of stuff, it
just
doesn't seem worth it.

I have enjoyed using http://www.sparkfun.com/ but I agree that a local place
would be nice.

I'm interested in this as well. Right now, I just go online, but I have to buy
a fair
bit for the shipping to be worth it, so I'd love somewhere local for when I
just need
that one last resistor...

We have gotten cable from Royal Wholesale Electric, but I don't know if it is
outdoor rated.

I'm looking for a local supplier for discrete electronics like
capacitors, resistors, etc, and maybe something more fancy like a
microcontroller. I was just wondering if any of the places mentioned
might have something along those lines. The only shop I know for sure
that has some of what I'd wan
Ya got me there. I guess I should have qualified it with cool residential and
commercial electricians. (My son is one)

What about all the student electrical engineers wanting parts for
hobby projects? Where do they shop?
