The difference is the hundreds of missing packages. A full install of 9.3 is roughly 8 - 9 gigs. You just can't get everything on cds these days. From what I have noticed they usually don't put all of the mail stuff in the cds. If you want to do any server stuff it is usually better to use the

did you install from cd or the dvd? if you used the cds then stop you are wasting your time. if you are using the dvd (highly recommended) then you should be ok if you don't have the dvd, I'd be willing to help you install it from the iso that I have. I can't afford dual-layer dvds these days. S

Some more (possibly helpful) info: I was poking around in Yast under the xinetd services section and noticed that smtp is listed as ON, but smtpd is listed as NI. So, I hit the button to turn on smtpd, and it says I must install it first. When I try to install smtpd, I get this message: "Package
