Make sure your phone is unlocked, android locks the partitions when the
phone is, same as adb. Also, android is definitely weird about sd-card
access, you typically have to unlock it specially to request permissions
separately, I've run into this on numerous devices that access files there,

I would check in the connect settings and then the app permissions. This
feels like Android security locking in place.

for accessing files on the phone from the desktop machine.
In Dolphin, I click on the phone and see the internal storage and the
micro SD card i added.
