Are you sure you are using the right video connection on the back of the computer? You might have 2 cards and the onboard might be disabled or nonfunctional. If you only have one card and it is not onboard, you could try reseating it in its slot (open up the case) otherwise it sounds like you

Make sure your input settings on the monitor are correct for the inputs. Also, try to use only one monitor until you get it working to make sure the graphics settings take. It'll also help troubleshooting, as you should be able to see the BIOS information on the single monitor if the input is
