Fedora 7 live CD fails to boot from the disk and from loading it to RAM ( Laptop Specs and failed distro list are below ). I tried dowloading the torrent from fedoraproject.org for 7 and the live failed. I then downloaded the DVD version and I am going this morning to buy some blank DVD-R. I

Ok, I have still have the Fed. Core 5 installed but it won't rec the eth0 even after the command Jeremy Miller gave me, and my network is DCHP. We have all the previous distro's that have failed. I tried the following site: http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/

Craig, I feel like a dork, your earlier statement of x86_64 may be the key. Unfortunately, I thought I had it when I found the ACHI drivers, but on page: 3.2. Which Architecture Is My Computer? Processor Manufacturer and Model Architecture Type for Fedora

I have actually written code for the TI 980 (when I worked for TI) back in the 70s. (Do you have the DX980 OS? and a compiler for the P/L-EXUS III language? just wondering...) I probably would not know what to do with it, but you might want to contact the TI alumni association,
