Well, it may be totally off-topic, but I don't care!
My wife had our 4th baby girl on February 29th and everyone is doing good and
healthy! I Praise the Lord for that!
It may be off-topic, but considering the date of birth, I thought it was worth
sharing on the list... ha ha

I would like to clarifytrixbox is a great system but the package manager
sometimes has very broken things onit. Or you are forced into having the
versions of asterisk and zaptel that trixbox wants to release etc. It is a
great system if you want a system that you dont change or update often.
That depends lol. If you want a system that is controlled by a package
manager and that most of the time is screwed up go with trixbox...
If you want something that has tons of community support and that you can
compile with from source and that is still using a CentOS5 base I would go
with PBX

Matt,
Thank you very much for your superfast answer.
Unfortunately, I am not good enough to install Gentoo, tried it a few years
ago and I never could get it to work right, not their fault, my not knowing
enough about Linux was at fault.

The quality of SuSE took a sharp nosedive around version 8.0,
so much so that I switched to Gentoo. AFAICT, there have
always been many, many stupid bugs in SuSE that are just not

Hi All,
I have a couple of minor glitches with this distro and would appreciate any
help and advice on how to solve them.
First my system. MB is a Gigabyte G1 Turbo with on board sound and lan. It is
a 64 bit system running on an X86 platform with plenty of ram and a NVidia

I want to try using the Funambol server with my blackberry. Funambol is
a push email/pim Open Source replacement for the proprietary Blackberry
Information Server.
Funambol needs to talk to an IMAP email server to synchronize the inbox
and other folders. However, my cox account only offers POP3. I
