Often with Backtrack3 the iso download gets schnerbed. So the BT3 disk boots
partially on one try and completely on the next.
It's incredibly annoying, but with any ISO burn, if it doesn't work
consistently, toss the disk, verify the checksum, and reburn!

I have used mpd extensively on my home network
Sheesh, running a Wiktionary includes FIRING UP Apache in a LAMP environment.
A wiki is a CMS tool, so why would we create BIAS for MPD (a music product)
based on their use of a highly configurable, FOSS developed and supported,
Wiki? Many php developers now customize CMS modules rather than

Treason? Give me liberty or give me death?
Treason? As far as I know my peers are all loyal?

Amen, brother! I hate the whole iTunes mentality. I organize my music in
directories like any sane person should (and even like iTunes does
anyway). I don't like my music player taking a minute to load up because
it has to scan all my music for new stuff and load the existing library.

All software sucks. The question is "how much does it suck?"

I guess I don't think that deep in to it. For quick plays I use mplayer.
When I had KDE I used Amarok, I have played with a bunch but settled on
Rythmbox just because it was default and there. I use picard for tagging and
all that jazz so it is simply a music player for me :)

I'm looking for some music software that doesn't suck. My experience
with Amarok was excellent, but there are certain things that I have
developed a strong distaste for, a few of which Amarok more than readily
picks up on. We went our separate ways, peacefully but still longing for
something... I k
