Greetings all,
I am writing app that allows me to control my canon SLR with my wiimote. I
am trying to figure out how to call a function in main that generats a
handle then returns the handle to main
Concept:
connect(){ connect to wiimote and return handle foo}
main(){ call connect(), get
What do you mean by handle ?
Looks like a callback to me...
I'd like to see the signature of the function that you are calling to get
the handle.

This is the perfect kind of conversation for the plug-devel list!
Move it over there for a receptive audience, including me.

I have collected many ebooks over the years and have been trying to sort
them manually for some time now. I would like to find some software, similar
to the Gallery project, that would allow me to index and search all of them.
It has to support txt, pdf, chm and it would be nice if djvu worked as

That look some what promising, but I was hoping for a lighter weight app. I
will play with it on a VM and see how I like it. I really want to preserve
the physical file if at all possible. Just a quick read though and it looks
like this app wants to import them into the itself if it recognizes the
This is for my personal collection and will be for intranet use only.

well i have been poking it with a stick and it does import it, but the
original file format is preserved with searchable metadata. we too
will be using it internally only. but it is pretty nice so far.

I did some testing, OTF is not recognized by it, but you can type in the
format type and store it, so it is available, and the file is not altered.

moin moin,
what are good ways to implement backups of VirtualBox VMen?
I'm mostly worried about the active servers. We need to be able to do bare
metal recovery in order to get the servces back up as well as getting
incremental changes.
We will also have some development VMen, but they're not

My sites completely disappeared twice and have yet to be replaced.
Anyone taking my advice to use this free hoster, does so knowing of

Believe me, it's not worth it.

Greetings,
I have two ATX boxes I wish to rebuild with all new internals. I am looking
for motherboards for both. I wish to run some flavor of Linux server on
them and would like your opinions. So far, the devices I will need at
least one of these boards to support, if not both are :
I have it actualy working my goal is to not clutter up my main and to
move out as much as possible. I tried the suggestion but I get a
segfault the wiimote connects then segfault. Again all works well in
main not so well in an external functionm If I didn't mention prior I
am using cwiid library
Look into supermicro boards
A little more but very reliable

This is a great puzzle that I also am working on
Bad way is running the backup from inside the server

I assume you're using VDI disk images for the Virtual Machines. If you're
using write-through disks it gets a LOT harder.
With VDI disks:
VBoxManage snapshot VMachine name or UUID take backup-$(date +%Y%M%DT%H%m%s)
--description backup for $(date +'%Y-%M-%DT%H:%m:%s %z')
Then backup the
