How can I create an icon with a transparent background? I've been able to make the image as a .gif with a transparent background, but when I open it with gimp and try to save it as a png, the background changes from transparent to white. Someone said it has to have an "Alpha channel with no back

All, I respectfully submit that M$ will not permit this to happen. Remember, they have been found guilty and convicted of violating anti trust laws and will do so anytime they believe their interests are threatened. They have been shown that even with a conviction, the penalty is minimal. T
