System76 has a i7 based laptop. I'd start looking there. Two of the three
laptops I own are System76 machines. The third is an old, old, Viao that's
been handed down to my kids to run flash games over the internet.
Oh, and the support Ubuntu. It's Windows they don't support.

computer store in the valley which is open on the weekend? I'm looking
for a high-end laptop, HP EliteBook, or similar pretty quickly. Fry's
doesn't carry that class of system and neither do any of the big-box
