Okay. I got the CD to burn. It took multiple tries. Then Linux Mint
wouldn't load on the first try. oh cool Linux Mint is the next version
of Ubuntu! How do a download the codecs and stuff I didn't d/l because I
could only burn a cd?

Oh yea I forgot to mention that microsoft does not include restore CDs
anymore (I'm sure most of you know this). They expect the average user to
make a backup of the operating system AND of the the boot sector?

I just found out about the command 'lshw' and I wanted to know if it sees
my hard drive. Unfortunately, I can not see it all. the text scrolls
off of the screen. What is an option to make it pause after a screen of
text is written? I tried '-a' to '-z' but none of them worked.
