well acronis is a good disk backup/image utility, and you can make a
backup and alteriut for 15 days for eval, then after that you cant
make any new ones, but you can still restore the ones you made.

Another software to use is Clonezilla in which I used to transfer a disk image
from one system to another one. The image can be written to a CD/DVD or to a
remote disk using SAMBA or SSHFILE(think that's the name) which is how I did
