Is it me, or are others finding this version NON-user friendly too.
4 times I have put Kubuntu on my system, and 4 times... I HATE Kde4.x
What other distro's can I go to that have a look similar to the old KDE3.x?

Well, it's too late for that now. But that's OK. I'm happy on the

I just installed Kubuntu 8.04 community KDE 4 remix. It installed
smoothly and looked very nice. Then during online installation of
more packages, Adept (the package manager) crashed. Just went away
