For my $0.02, I think the simple pre-pending of "OT:" works quite nicely...we (mailing-list subscribers) have been using this quite effectively for years and years. If I wanted to join a forum on "given topic", then I'd go join a forum eh? Mailing lists provide an entirely different experience. C

has anyone ever looked at the idea of converting to a phpBB style forums here? it would have all the news, ontopic and offtopic ares segregated. and if one wants to follow a specific forum, they can have the setting made for them to be e-mailed of new changes to that forum. I tend to do this a
