I have a spare IDE laptop drive right now, but no optical for laptop.
however there is a unetbootin (http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/)
project that will turn a thumb drive into any number of Linux install
sources from ISO or directly from the internet.
Hi Tim,
Sorry to hear about your situation. What I can offer is that Godaddy is always
looking for tech support. Worked there a while back for about a year. Was
interesting and they did not treat their tech support folks very good back
then. I have a developer friend that works at Godaddy
I have applied for several positions at GD and been trumped by inside
movers. Or just never contacted. The market is hard rite now - I have been
looking for a year and a half without any luck - two degrees, a half dozen
certs, and 15 years of experience and I can't find a thing. So I understand.
try jobs.schwab.com. There are technical positions open in Phoenix.
Send me email off-list if you have specific questions!
Regards,

Hi Tim;
Well it is bad, very bad your situation, i share your pain, i got my-self on
the same situation but at list i got a part time as VoIP installer for now
and looking for more work, please go to Workforce connections, they have
multiple locations with computer and printers, they do not ask
AZIPA and aztech-list are both good mailing lists to lurk on for
unadvertised jobs azipa.org. I probably have a drive laying around and
cdrom that I could give you.
What part of the valley are you staying in?
