true the majority of the people on this list do use debian or RedHat based

Today I went to Boarders to purchase a opensuse 10.3 book (it is
Opensuse Unleashed by Michael McCallister) and I was wondering if it
will work with opensuse 11 (The thing is we do need a book/manual just
in case assistance is needed in my absence). Also if I wanted to use

There are a ton of guides for setting up Samba, just Google around.
Personally, I got tired of setting up Samba from scratch all the time,
so I've been using a Samba installer at http://majen.net/smbldap/ It
works with Debian/Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.

series on setting up an ubuntu server. I have not read it yet, but
they are usually pretty interesting. The series in in issues 9-15 and
