The sound on my fedora 7 system is just not right.. the volume is WAY to
muted and there is a noticeable white noise when the volume is turned up. I
think the white noise is at least partially related to scrolling on my
wireless mouse, but it didn't do that when I had windows on this machin

Now to figure out VMWare.
